Sandwich Panel
This is an advancement of the precast concrete wall system, incorporating fiberglass insulation within the wall, which provides several outstanding properties. It has been patented and funded by the National Innovation Agency (NIA) and developed in collaboration with Chiang Mai University and Maejo University to enhance structural strength and temperature insulation.
Properties of Sandwich Panel Concrete Walls
Superior Heat Insulation
Sandwich panel concrete walls provide better heat resistance compared to conventional brick walls. Research shows they can reduce air conditioning energy consumption by up to 10%, effectively minimizing heat transfer from outside to inside the building.
Strength and Load-Bearing Capacity
These panels can support significant weight and impact forces, tested and certified according to Thai Industrial Standard TIS 2226-2548.
